LOOT respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how copyright owners may report alleged infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws elsewhere, and how users may respond.

1. Designated Copyright Agent

LOOT will register and publish a designated DMCA agent before relying on DMCA safe harbor. Until the registered agent information is published, send copyright concerns to the contact below.

2. Copyright Takedown Notices

If you believe content on LOOT infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the Copyright Agent with:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
Identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to locate it.
Your contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

3. Our Response

When we receive a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material, notify the user who posted it, and take other appropriate action.

4. Counter-Notices

If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the Copyright Agent with:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, phone number, and email.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located, or if outside the United States, any judicial district where LOOT may be found.
A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

LOOT may terminate or restrict users who repeatedly infringe copyright or repeatedly submit infringing content. LOOT may also remove content, disable uploads, restrict campaigns, pause payouts, or preserve records where appropriate.

6. Misrepresentations

Submitting false copyright notices or counter-notices may create legal liability. If you are unsure whether content is infringing, consult an attorney.
